22-year-old drug dealer bags life sentence in Dubai
DUBAI:A 22-year-old Bangladeshi carpenter who was sentence to a four-year jail for selling and possessing 4.7g of marijuana on Dubai streets by First Instance Court had got his sentence reversed to life jail by a higher Dubai court.
Dubai Public Prosecution had appealed against the lower court ruling asking for a death sentence for the accused.
According to prosecutions,the anti-narcotics department at Dubai Police on June 20,2014 got information that the accused was selling marijuana on the Dubai streets.
